2001-2005
Oct 18, 2001:
Missionaries departed for the mission field in Kenya.
2002-2005:
Began teaching ministry at Kihumbuini Primary School in Nairobi, reaching 2,400 students.
Missionary Lee:
Taught Bible, Math, and Music. Led a choir that won national awards and taught at Bethany Theological Seminary.
Missionary Hong:
Focused on Bible, Math, and intensive discipleship training, including providing lunches for children in the slum area.

2002-2008
Jan 2002:
Received a clear vision for Muslim missions through children’s and youth ministry.
Core Belief:
“When children are transformed, Muslim villages have a future.” This became a guiding principle.
2003:
First short-term mission team hosted a Bible camp in Nairobi and the coastal Muslim community of Miamba.
2003-Present:
Launched ongoing outreach to public schools in Muslim areas, establishing Christian Unions and supporting Bible teachers.

2004-2009
2004:
Miamba Bethany Church was planted, starting in a school classroom.
Dec 2005:
Relocated from Nairobi to the coastal region of Kwale County.
2006:
Purchased 6.5 acres of land in Matuga and started a church with 10 local children.
Jan 2009:
Bethany Christian Academy opened its doors, starting with one kindergarten class.
Feb 2009:
Official opening ceremony for the Bethany Mission Center.

2010-2013
2010:
Launched a child sponsorship ministry in partnership with Good People Korea, now supporting 450 children.
Dec 2010:
Hosted a spiritual retreat for 100 pastors from Bethany Theological Seminary.
Sep 2012:
Opened a dispensary, now serving 400-500 patients weekly with support from partners and the government.
Apr 2013:
Held a seminar for local public school principals to build stronger community ties.

2011-Present
2011:
Planted new churches in Msangatamu and Kizibe, and held a dedication service for Miamba Church.
Aug 2012:
Hosted a historic joint evangelistic meeting for over 100 churches, with 21,000 attendees.
Today:
The mission continues to grow, overseeing a network of churches, schools, and outreach programs that impact thousands.
